I’ve spent over 20 years making things look extraordinary on camera. Brands, campaigns, product launches, documentary-style storytelling — I’ve done it all. And then I became a parent, and suddenly the hardest subject we’d ever tried to shoot was the one living in our house.
Kids don’t follow direction. They don’t hold still. They make the face right after you put the camera down. And traditional portrait photographers — despite being wonderful humans — are not always set up to handle the chaos.
So I built something different.
Caught Cheesin’ is fast, loose, and designed around how kids actually move through the world. We come in with a plan and throw it out the second your kid has a better idea. I have exactly the right toys, the exact right moves, and enough patience (and coffee) to get the shot.
And then — because why not — I turn your favorites into something you’ve never seen before.

I'm Jamie — Chief Chaos Officer at Corvus Creative, mom to the world's cheekiest, spiciest 3-year-old, and the person who built Caught Cheesin' because kids deserve portraits that actually look like them.
I've spent 20+ years as a creative director and producer on set with the biggest names in kids and family brands. Happy Baby, Huggies, Lalo — I've directed the shoots, managed the chaos, and captured the kind of authentic, vibrant moments that make people stop scrolling. I know what great looks like. I know how to get it out of a kid who just ate a snack and has opinions about everything.
I work with every personality type — the wild ones, the cautious ones, the ones hiding behind your leg. Nobody holds in a smile forever. Especially not around me. 🧀
At Caught Cheesin' I handle the creative direction, the illustrations, and the overall vibe. Every session, every card, every custom illustrated portrait comes from me personally.
